National Adoption Foundation The National Adoption Foundation was established in 1994 by adoptive parents
who understand the unmet needs adoptive families have for financial support
and advocacy. Everything the Foundation does is driven by a clear
understanding of the challenges faced by families in the adoption process
and beyond. The National Adoption Foundation is the only national resource
dedicated exclusively to providing financial support, information and
services directly to adoptive families.
The mission of the National Adoption Foundation is to provide financial
assistance, services and support to families, before, during and after their
adoptions are finalized. The Foundation's programs are available to any
family whether they are adopting an infant, a child from abroad or a child
from foster care.
In addition to providing financial assistance, The NAF Seeks to educate
policy makers and the public about the financial barriers to adoption and
the unmet needs of adoptive families. The Foundation's presence on Capitol
Hill and media appearances ensure that the interests of adoptive families
are being promoted and protected. |
